Bitcoin price has reached a new ATH following it broken through $19,738 recorded previously. The price of the top crypto hit $19,833 and then retracts to its current price of $19,617, as per Bitstmap.
The crypto has taken the better part of the past 4 months to be on a bull run in that the past 4 months witnessed the price of Bitcoin surged from roughly $11,000 to be close to its ATH. However, the sector suffered crash with Bitcoin falling to near $16,400. Fortunately, in a strong reversal, it is likely for Bitcoin to break the record. As such, crypto Twitter is having a party.
Jameson Lopp - CTO of Casa - noted "Congrats to those who have survived a full market cycle. Better buckle up!" Bitcoin strategist at Kraken Pierre Rochard was inspired by the recovery of Bitcoin from last week's drop and advised investors to sell other assets in order to buy more Bitcoin.
CEO of MicroStrategy and outspoken Bitcoin advocate Michael Saylor tweeted and noted Bitcoin's functionality just in time for the all-time high. The threat of Thanksgiving in 2020 will be synonymous with a price correction, which has led Bitcoin to near an all-time high, but Saylor pointed out that Bitcoin had been put into a difficult test during the holiday.
Similarly, Bitcoin bear Peter Schiff had something to say. He believed that the price rise was down to a rumor. "The news that Guggenheim is contemplating putting as much as $500 million into GBTC has sent the price of Bitcoin to a new high. I doubt Guggenheim is dumb enough to actually do this, but they may be smart enough to float the rumor to help pumpers manipulate the price higher," he tweeted.
The tendency of Bitcoin price
Crypto Twitter is making predictions on what is next for Bitcoin at present.
Some hold that the day will not come to an end so quickly and believe that Bitcoin's next record will be breaking the mark of $20,000. Anthony Pompliano - author of the Pomp Podcast, one of the most popular podcasts in the crypto community - tweeted, "Bitcoin is really making a run at $20,000 this morning."
However, others do not feel satisfied with the target of $20,000. Co-founder of Gemini Tyler Winklevoss states that Bitcoin is experiencing an increase. Meanwhile, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao reckoned that if you sold Bitcoin, you should "slap yourself" in that that is not for the first time.
